Disney Cruise Line just started sailing again a few weeks ago, with the Disney Dream offering voyages to the Bahamas.

Several new health and safety measures were put in place, but no vaccine requirements were set at the time. But now, due to some new restrictions in the Bahamas, passengers will be required to be vaccinated before their trip.
Beginning on September 3rd and running through November 1st, 2021, the Bahamas will require all cruise ship passengers ages 12 and up to be fully vaccinated in order to allow the ship entry into port. This includes private islands such as Disney’s Castaway Cay.

Because of this, Disney is now requiring all guests 12 and older to be fully vaccinated on upcoming sailings. Approved vaccines include Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson. Disney also notes the following:
- Guests who have received both doses of Moderna, Pfizer, or AstraZeneca are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the second dose has been administered.
- Guests who have received Johnson & Johnson are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving one dose.
- Guests with both one dose of Moderna and one dose of Pfizer are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the second dose.
- Guests who have received one single dose of a vector vaccine (e.g. AstraZeneca) and one single dose of an mRNA vaccine (e.g. Pfizer, Moderna) are not considered fully vaccinated.

Guests who do not provide proof of vaccination will not be allowed to board the ship. Those with sailings during the above-mentioned time frame may modify their trips or cancel their sailing without any Disney-imposed cancellation fees.
