Many of Disney’s features have seen modifications to be more conscious of environmental sustainability with the removal of plastics, urge to conserve water, and more across its properties.

And, if you plan on heading to the parks soon, you may see yet another clean and green change at a popular coffee spot!

In accordance with Disney’s ongoing shifts towards more eco-friendly practices across the parks and resorts, Joffrey’s Coffee in EPCOT’s American Adventure has added a new sustainable feature to the kiosk!

Now, guests will receive a 100% recyclable and biodegradable sugarcane straw to use instead of the paper straws that were there before.

While paper straws have been more eco-friendly than plastic straws, sometimes they can be a little less durable. However, the sugarcane fiber straws have more flexibility and don’t crumble as much as their predecessors!

We’ll have to keep our eye out for more of these biodegradable sugarcane straws around other Joffrey’s Coffee and dining locations in Disney World. And, you can stay tuned with All Ears for the latest Disney news you need to know soon!
