This Unsuspecting Statue Got a Surprising New Look at Disney's Animal Kingdom!

The Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom brings us so much serenity. Whether we’re waiting to watch Winged Encounters or discovering new animals carved into the tree, there’s always something to see!

This icon is also home to It’s Tough to be a Bug, and something pretty funny happened near this attraction today!

“It’s Tough to be a Bug” is a funny (and kinda scary) 3D show featuring the bugs from Pixar’s A Bug’s Life. You’ll encounter many creepy-crawlies, some friendly and some frightening.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug!

Guests are given 3D glasses to enjoy all the effects of the show. Typically, these glasses are returned to baskets as you exit the bug world and reenter the human world. However, it seems like a pair of these glasses got an unsuspecting owner today!

Although we’re not sure if this gorilla had planned to wear these bug-eyed glasses today, he can definitely pull them off! We guess this is just one of the consequences of living near the exit of this attraction. Check back with us for more updates about fun Disney World happenings!
