Shanghai Disneyland was the first global Disney Park to reopen from their temporary closures, back on May 11th. Since then, the park has already made some steps forward in their phased reopening, which has included implementing a new virtual standby queue system as well as resuming some stage shows.

We’ve now learned that Shanghai Disneyland is making another big step forward in re-establishing a sense of normalcy in their day-to-day operations.
Shanghai Disneyland’s nightly fireworks show Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light is currently in trial operations!

According to Disney’s website, the show will take place nightly at 9PM through Sunday, August 2nd. Past that date, there are currently no show times listed.

Disney has stated that during the trial operation of Ignite the Dream, “During this period we may make operational adjustments, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.”

If this trial operation bodes well for Shanghai Disneyland, we may see the first global park be able to permanently reimplement their nightly fireworks spectacular after the closures.
