Construction Photos: Disney World’s Riviera Resort Prepares for December Grand Opening

Disney World‘s newest resort, Riviera Resort, will open its doors on December 16. With opening day almost four months away we stopped by to see how the resort is coming along.

One thing, this resort is big! We could see blue and red awnings have been added to the building, and we spotted something else.

We spotted the resort’s initials “RR” on the roof line, and if you see it at night you won’t miss them — they light up!

A closer look at the pool area shows they are working on the slide for the feature pool. It looks pretty close to the concept art. Learn more about the Riviera Resort’s pools here!
