We’ve said it a million times, and we’ll say it again — there are SO many fantastic restaurants in Disney Springs, sometimes it’s hard to choose where you’d like to go.

While there are some restaurants that are at the top of seemingly everyone’s lists, there are also some that we feel go unappreciated. City Works Eatery and Pour House is one of those, but after dining there recently, we’re here to tell you that you should DEFINITELY add this to the top of your list to try on your next visit!
City Works is located in the West Side section of Disney Springs and is known for its classic American food and being a mix of an upbeat restaurant and lively sports bar.

Seating is mostly indoor, but they do have a bar window with seating outside for you to enjoy as well if you don’t want to sit down for a full meal. Inside, things can get decently noisy with the TVs playing, so that’s something to keep in mind if you know your party may be sensitive to that.

The menu itself is quite expansive, so you’re bound to find something for everyone in your party. There’s also a full vegetarian menu available as well.

We decided to start with the Blackened Chicken Caesar Wrap, which is $19.45 and made with Blackened Chicken, Romaine, Crouton Crumble, Parmesan, Caesar Dressing on a Flour Tortilla.

This was delicious! The wrap is super moist, not dry at all, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. The tortilla was super soft, the lettuce gave it a freshness and great crunch, and the contrast between the crunchiness of the lettuce and the softness of the tortilla and the chicken were a great mix. There wasn’t too much dressing in this, which we really appreciated, but it was enough to make it a good moist wrap. It came with fries on the side which were seasoned beautifully — we can see why this restaurant is known for them!

We also grabbed the Grilled Lemon Salmon for $33.95, which is Grilled Salmon, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Broccolini, Lemon Butter Sauce, and Micro Greens.

This salmon was incredible, and we KNOW it was, because after we took our photos, it was cold, which is not how its supposed to be eaten. If it was THIS good while cold, we can’t imagine how it would be fresh out on the table! The lemon drizzle on it and the sauce is delicious, as it gives the dish a bit of a sweet and like sour taste. The salmon is super soft and very easy to cut into, as well as being seasoned very well. The mashed potatoes were also very flavorful, super soft and fluffy, and overall exactly how you’d want your mashed potatoes to be. The broccolini was grilled and had a barbeque taste to it, which we really enjoyed. This was a winner, for sure!

We also grabbed the Shared Trio, which is Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese, Queso Dip with Chorizo and Fresno Chilies, and Southern-Fried Popcorn Chicken with Ranch, all for $23.95.

Starting with the Queso, this was fantastic as well. The chips are homemade, and the chorizo gives the queso a nice flavor, it’s super creamy, very soft, and the chilies give it a little bit of a kick to it. Our only complaint is that we wish we had more of those homemade chips!

The Pretzel Bites weren’t too salty, which we appreciated, but we do definitely recommend dipping it into the beer cheese sauce, because they’re a little dry otherwise.

Finally, we had the Popcorn Chicken, and while this wasn’t bad at all, we do feel it was a little bland. The breading was soft, instead of having a crunch to it, which we weren’t the biggest fan of. If we were going to skip anything, this would be it.

Overall, we think this restaurant is VERY solid and it’s a great spot to head if you’re looking for some classic American eats, or want to head to a spot you don’t have to worry too much about needing a reservation far ahead in advance.
