Disney is expanding its Fairytale Weddings lineup in a way no one saw coming! Couples will soon have the chance to tie the knot in a setting that’s equal parts romantic and hauntingly iconic…and it’s going to turn heads.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a Disney wedding that breaks the mold, Disney just made that dream even more interesting. For the first time, couples can now say “I do” at a live wedding ceremony at the Haunted Mansion Courtyard in Disneyland, complete with that iconic facade and eerie charm as the backdrop.

Starting in July, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons is adding the Haunted Mansion Courtyard to its lineup of available wedding venues, which is a huge expansion that gives couples something truly unique beyond the usual castles, gardens, and ballrooms. Whether you’re a Haunted Mansion superfan or just love gothic romance with a twist, this setting lets you trade traditional wedding aesthetics for spooky-elegant vibes that are still unmistakably Disney.

One of the coolest parts is how Disney is shaping the experience: ceremonies take place early in the morning before Disneyland opens, which means couples get stunning photos and a private moment without the park crowds around them. The set-up can accommodate up to 25 guests, and wedding packages will include essentials like a dedicated officiant, floral décor, professional photography, lighting, and transportation to and from a Disneyland hotel — all designed to make it feel like a complete, tailored celebration rather than just a quick “photo moment.”

And for couples who love the Haunted Mansion theme but want a slightly different vibe, there are options nearby, too! Just steps from the mansion, Magnolia Park Terrace offers a more elegant setting with views of the attraction, blending gothic energy with a classic garden twist.

Beyond Disneyland itself, Disney is also expanding this spooky wedding concept to the seas. As we’d previously mentioned, starting in May, couples will be able to tie the knot aboard the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Destiny (Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship) with shifting ghostly portraits and haunted design elements that bring the story to life in a unique nautical setting.
