UPDATE: Lengthy Closure Revealed for Oga's Cantina in Disneyland

Disney just updated the closure time for Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland, and it got a lengthy extension!

The popular cantina sitting in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is temporarily closing on January 20th and was supposed to be closed till January 24th. However, it was updated on the Disneyland website that the closure is going way past the expected reopening date — like, WAY past!

Oga’s Cantina in Disneyland Park at first was not showing any operating hours from January 20th through January 24th, 2026. That has now been changed, where the dining spot isn’t showing any operating hours from January 20th through February 26th, 2026 (which is as far out as the calendar goes). The popular Star Wars bar’s closure is going to impact a lot more visitors coming to Disneyland than was originally expected.

We realized that the closure for the bar lasts as far as the calendar goes, just like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (which temporarily closes on the same day). Neither Oga’s nor Rise of the Resistance has been given a reopening date.

Disney hasn’t shared very many updates about Oga’s Cantina, but we do know there will be some changes! With the recent breaking news that Disneyland would be adding the original Star Wars trilogy to the popular land, Disney also confirmed the lively tune “Cantina Band” will be heard from within Oga’s Cantina.
