CONFIRMED: Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Fireworks Are Coming to EVERYONE

If you’re visiting Disney World during the holidays, there’s a downside: crowds and long wait times, as well as higher prices for Lightning Lane Multi Pass. But it’s also one of the most magical times to visit the parks, so it’s a bit of a trade-off.

If you’re visiting CLOSE to Christmas Day, you’re also in for an extra treat: you’ll get to see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks without a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Normally, you wouldn’t have a chance to see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks outside of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, as the fireworks are part of the party’s exclusive entertainment. However, if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom on December 22nd through December 25th, you can see this special fireworks show at 8:30 PM.

If you’re visiting Disney World during that time, you’ll want to make a note not to miss this fireworks show! Happily Ever After, Magic Kingdom’s regular fireworks show will be showing on December 26th through 29th.

If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom from December 30th through 31st, though, you’ll get to see a rare fireworks show: Fantasy in the Sky, which will happen on both nights at 7:30 PM and 11:50 PM. These are the special New Year’s fireworks you can catch in the park for just those two days. Then Happily Ever After returns.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

It’s sure to be a fun time to be in Magic Kingdom, but we would suggest that if you want to catch either fireworks show, you’ll want to get to Magic Kingdom early (like when it opens) and stake out a spot for the show as early as you can. You can also opt for a fireworks dessert party to get a guaranteed good spot for the show.
