As former Disney Cast Members, our team has spent countless hours walking the streets of Magic Kingdom, helping guests navigate everything from parade crowds to must-try dining spots.

With insider experience and a deep love for food, we’re sharing the Magic Kingdom restaurants that truly stood out to us. These are places where atmosphere, storytelling, and great food come together. From timeless character meals to hidden gems, these are the spots we’d choose every time, and we’re sharing why you should eat there, too!
There are a lot of places you can grab some grub while at Magic Kingdom, but we’ll be the first to tell you, they aren’t all worth your time and money. The AllEars team, who were former Cast Members, have come together to agree on their top restaurants. We even created a handy map to make it easier for you on your next trip!

1. Columbia Harbour House
Columbia Harbour House is a longtime favorite of our former CMs for its quieter atmosphere and coastal-inspired menu. This quick service location serves up items like grilled salmon, lobster rolls, and the side options of rice, green beans, and more. It’s a great choice for guests who want something lighter and a break from the usual theme park food. Seafood lovers and anyone seeking a peaceful break will enjoy it, while guests craving bold flavors or classic park comfort food might opt for something else.
REVIEW: The Magic Kingdom Restaurant We Call “Old Reliable,” Because It Never Fails Us

One of our favorite dishes here is the Maple-Mustard Glazed Salmon for $15.79. The salmon is tender and moist, and the glaze is a great combination of mustard flavor with a bit of sweetness from the maple. We love that you can find plenty of indoor seating here, and you can mobile order, making it a quick stop if you need it between rides.

2. Casey’s Corner
Casey’s Corner is the go-to for classic ballpark eats, serving hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, fries, and seasonal specialty dogs. Its nostalgic theming and prime location on Main Street make it a great stop for guests wanting a quick, fun, and quintessential Magic Kingdom meal. If you love hot dogs or corn dogs, this should be your stop for lunch.

They do have some plant-based options as well! Our long-standing favorite item is the corn dog nuggets. While indoor seating is very limited, we love grabbing these, sitting on the hub grass, and enjoying lunch with views of the castle!

3. The Crystal Palace
The Crystal Palace is perfect for families looking for a whimsical buffet experience with Winnie the Pooh and friends. This restaurant is a buffet-style character meal. For breakfast, you’ll find the usual eggs, bacon, but our favorite is the churro Mickey waffles. For lunch and dinner, the menu features fresh salads, carved meats, homestyle sides, and a wide dessert spread that appeals to a broad range of tastes.
REVIEW: Is This Magic Kingdom Buffet Still One of the Best Character Meals in Disney World?

If you’re looking for one of the most consistent character meal experiences at Disney World, this is it. This one ranks high on our list of character dining meals, and for good reason. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing meal to unwind, you might want to skip this. Disney World can bring the stress, and sometimes you’re just looking for a short escape for a few minutes while you eat. This buffet brings characters, good food, and fun vibes every time for us.

4. Cinderella’s Royal Table
Dining inside Cinderella Castle is an iconic, bucket-list experience, and the prix fixe menu features upscale options like beef tenderloin, chicken-and-pasta dishes, and indulgent desserts. Cinderella’s Royal Table is a dream meal for princess lovers, first-time visitors, and anyone wanting a magical, once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere. Those on a tighter budget or who prefer more casual meals may choose to save this one for a special occasion.
Our Latest Review of Cinderella’s Royal Table

The Slow-braised Beef is one of our favorites. This dish is made of Carrot Purée, Red Wine-Onion Jam, and Horseradish Gremolata, and sometimes you can’t judge a book by its cover. The beef was tender, and the flavors from the broth the meat was cooked in didn’t leave it soggy or soupy. It was mostly reminiscent of a pot roast dish. For dessert, The Clock Strikes Twelve.

This dessert is made of a Chocolate Ganache Tart topped with Salted Caramel-Coffee Mousse, and is a coffee and chocolate lover’s dream! We do think this is a special occasion dining choice, though, because it is pricey.

5. Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Tree Tavern offers a family-style, all-you-care-to-enjoy feast of roasted turkey, pot roast, pork, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and the famous Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Its cozy Colonial theming makes it especially appealing during cooler months or for guests who love traditional comfort food.

It’s basically a Thanksgiving feast every day here, and we love it for that! It’s fairly priced for an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet for just $45 for adults and $24 for kids. It’s not the best pick for diners seeking lighter fare or fast-paced meals, but it’s a top choice for hearty appetites.
