REVIEW: Because We Knew These ‘Wicked’ Cookies in Disney Springs, We’ve Been Changed For The Better

Wicked: For Good is taking the world by storm after its November 21st release, just like the first film did last year!

It’s cookie time!

We’re seeing tons of merchandise pop up for the new film, along with special treats you won’t want to miss. As this film is one of Universal’s, we’re seeing most of the exclusive offerings over in Universal Orlando, but Disney wanted to join in on the action too! There are now two new treats you can grab in Disney Springs, and not to be cheesy, but they’ve totally changed us for good.

Over at Summer House on the Lake (which is one of our favorite restaurants in Disney Springs, we’ll just put that out there now), you can stop by the Cookie Bar to check out the TWO new Wicked-inspired cookies they’ve got available.

Check out those cookies!

The first one we grabbed is the Emerald Spell, which is a birthday cake flavored cookie. While you may be expecting a funfetti-looking cookie because of the flavor, this just looked like a regular sugar cookie covered in green sprinkles. It also tasted pretty similar to a sugar cookie, but with a bit more vanilla flavor than you normally get.

Emerald Spell Cookie

We feel like birthday cake and sugar cookie are normally very close flavors, but we did notice that this one is a bit more cakey on the inside which gives you a bit of that birthday cake feel. It was soft and sweet, so while there was nothing wrong with it, it wasn’t super unique. If you’re a pickier eater though and want something classic, this is a good way to go!

If you prefer classic cookies, this is for you

The Sparkle Sprinkle, on the other hand, is more unique, as it’s a raspberry cheesecake flavor! The cookie itself was soft, tender and sweet, and we really loved that the flavor of raspberries and cream came through super well.

Sparkle Sprinkle

The sprinkles not only made it look super pretty, but also added a great texture when you bit into it, since the cookie itself is quite soft. We preferred this one a little more when comparing the cookies, just because it’s more unique, but if someone doesn’t enjoy raspberries, they’ll want to skip this one.

We loved the flavor!

We’re not totally sure how long these will be sticking around, so if you’re interested in snagging them, we recommend doing so sooner rather than later to have the best chance of giving them a try.
