These 6 Major Disney World Restaurant Changes Are Happening Sooner Than You Think

We’ve got a warning for you — some major restaurant changes are coming to Disney World soon!

California Grill

Yep, several dining locations will be changing soon, and if you’re heading on a trip, you’ll want to know about these updates. Let’s dive into the full list!

California Grill

Starting things out at one of Disney World’s most high-end dining experiences, California Grill at the Contemporary Resort is about to get some price increases. Currently, you can dine here for $89 per adult, but on November 7th, that will increase to $99.

Restaurantosaurus

Alas, one of the sad things about 2026 in Disney World is that we’ll have to say goodbye to DinoLand, U.S.A., and along with it, Restaurantosaurus. This quick service restaurant will be closing permanently on February 2nd, 2026.

Full spread at Restaurantosaurus

That means that the last day to enjoy a burger and some chicken nuggets while dining inside an Airstream is on February 1st. We’ll definitely miss this underrated spot with its quirky decor and fun hidden details.

Harambe Market

And speaking of the DinoLand closure, Harambe Market will be getting some updates to fill the void left behind in Restaurantosaurus’s absence. The restaurant recently closed temporarily to get some new equipment added, so that way, they can serve the beloved burgers and chicken strips that Restaurantosaurus is known for.

Harambe Market

Harambe Market is located in Africa, and it’s set to reopen in 2026 with the new menu items from Restaurantosaurus. It was previously home to a selection of rice bowls and healthier options, so this will be a significant switch-up.

AstroFizz

If you’re a lover of Disney snacks like we are, then you’ll be happy to know that a NEW snack spot is now open in Magic Kingdom…or rather, an old snack spot has a big retheme. Where Cool Ship used to live in Tomorrowland now stands AstroFizz, your home for churros, frozen slushies, popcorn, and more.

It’s OPEN!

It had a surprise opening on November 1st, and one of the more interesting items on the menu is the Cherry Cola Churro. It’s open daily from park open to park close, so make sure to stop by and check it out.

Toledo

Sangria University is one of the most unique offerings at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort — a class where you learn about the history of sangria, get to taste 4 different versions, and even try making your own. It’s one of those add-ons that few people know about! But starting on December 13th, 2025, it’s moving locations.

Sangria University is currently held at Three Bridges Bar & Grill, an outdoor restaurant in the middle of the resort’s lagoon. However, it’ll soon be moving to Toledo, located at the top of Gran Destino Tower. There will be two classes available every Saturday and Sunday.

Holiday Treats

Last but not least, we’ve got to talk about all the holiday treats that are coming to Disney World in the next few days and weeks! There will be a plethora of exclusive snacks at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights, as well as plenty of food items available all day long in the parks.

In addition to snacks, some of the restaurants in the parks will be getting special menus during the hard-ticketed events. The Hollywood Brown Derby does an entire holiday overlay during Jollywood Nights, and The Plaza Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, and Be Our Guest Restaurant will all have special menus during Very Merry.
