We Have a HUGE Update About Disney's Port Orleans — French Quarter

Okay, so it’s become obvious that 2025 is the year of the Disney World hotel lobby upgrade. For starters, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is getting a lobby makeover that includes a new bar. Disney’s Pop Century is also getting quite a bit of a lobby update.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter recently got a lobby upgrade, and it’s finally complete! So we headed on down the bayou to visit the hotel and see what the new lobby looks like. Come with us!

The lobby refurbishment at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter is complete, and it’s looking nice, bright, and lovely! First, some vibrant new rugs have entered the chat, and they’ve really got the place HOPPING.

There’s new furniture in the lobby, too, including this area where kids and their parents can sit and watch some TV.

Here’s another seating area with tables. As you can see, the whole look of the lobby seems more full of light and color. This upgrade didn’t really change a lot, but it just goes to show that even just changing some small elements could transform the entire space, and that’s exactly what Disney has done.

Granted, there is still at least one construction curtain up, but we have a feeling this area will be revealed again soon.
