CONFIRMED: Where Marvel Fans Can Stream ‘Thunderbolts’ From Home

Thunderbolts* fans — you won’t have to wait much longer to watch “The New Avengers” at home!

Thunderbolts* might have experienced a rocky opening at the box office, but that’s not keeping fans from raving about the film and its misguided cast of beloved characters. If you’ve been waiting for your chance to relive the action or were holding off on seeing the movie in theaters, you’ll have your chance to watch this movie from home soon.

According to Rolling Stone, The New Avengers finally have a home release date. Thunderbolts* will be available to stream on demand as soon as July 1st. You’ll be able to stream the movie on platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.

This confirmed streaming date means that Marvel and Disney fans alike will be able to rent or buy the new movie to view at home. At this time, we don’t have an official release date for when the movie will be available on Disney+. We suspect it could be a few weeks after the digital release on July 1st. The 4K Ultra HD digital and physical releases will feature Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and include bonus features like deleted scenes, a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and commentary by its director, Jake Schreier.

But that’s not the ONLY release date this film is getting for home viewing. Thunderbolts* will also get a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on July 29th, and preorders are expected to roll out soon.

Marvel is also releasing collectible versions of the film on Blu-ray, including a SteelBook version that will feature custom artwork.

Thunderbolts* stars Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Red Gaurdian, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes. Together, these characters make up a ragtag team of antiheroes who are pitted against each other by Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
