Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to some of the most thrilling and popular attractions in all of Disney World.

This often means that it’s also home to some of the highest wait times and most crowded areas in the entire resort! It’s full of Disney fans of all ages, including Disney Adults, and we totally get it, because we’re Disney Adults and we’re there all the time! However, if you’re a Disney Adult and you’re heading to Hollywood Studios soon, we’re BEGGING you to stop doing these things.
Stop Avoiding ABC Commissary
Listen, Hollywood Studios isn’t home to some of the best dining options, and in fact, we’d actually say it’s one of the weakest when it comes to food options. However, there ARE decent options around the park when you know where to look, and one of those is ABC Commissary!

ABC Commissary is totally underrated in our opinion, and there are some great options here for those with different tastebuds and preferred flavor profiles. One of our favorite offerings is the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese, but we’re begging you — check out this spot the next time you’re in the park!
Stop Waiting Until The Last Minute For Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is one of, if not the most, popular show in all of Disney World, and that means it fills up FAST! Typically we recommend getting to the show, whether it’s the first or second showing of the night, at least half an hour in advance regardless, and up to an hour early if you want to ensure you get a great seat.

What we DON’T recommend doing, but we’ve seen happen far too often, is that Disney adults, either by themselves or with their family/a group, will wait until the last minute to head to Fantasmic! and then unfortunately the show is full. This is especially true if there’s only ONE show that evening!

So if seeing Fantasmic! is extremely important for you/your group, be sure to prioritize getting there early so you’re not caught off guard if/when the theatre closes due to being full.
Meet Characters EARLY
Meeting characters is sometimes the highlight of your day in Disney World, but there’s a catch here — characters often don’t stay out nearly as late as the park is open/attractions are available, so stop waiting until the last minute to meet them!

We’ve also seen this happen far too many times, and it breaks our hearts. We’ve seen families heartbroken talking with Cast Members around 5-6 PM when they’re being told that Buzz, or Woody, or Goofy have already gone in for the day and won’t be back out again. We don’t want that to happen to you!

It’s so important to use the My Disney Experience App to check for character meeting times and locations throughout the day and even before your trip so you can be prepared! You can also use the app to look at dining menus before you decide where you’d like to stop to eat, or decide what dining reservations you’d like to get. It’s a treasure trove of information — you don’t want to do Disney without it!
Don’t Ruin The Pre-Show
When you’ve been to Disney World countless times, you start to memorize silly things like the pre-shows before attractions begin. We know, it’s tempting to speak or sing along with the pre-show since you know it so well, or have a conversation with your group since you don’t really care to pay attention, but here’s the important thing to remember — all around you, there are people experiencing this for the FIRST time.

Now we’re not saying you have to be completely silent or can’t have a conversation with your group while it’s going on, but don’t sing or speak along too loudly, or have a distracting conversation. Allow those around you to hear and see the pre-show without major distractions, because who knows when they’ll be able to experience it again!

Hollywood Studios is a fantastic park for all ages, but by being prepared, you can make sure you and your family/group have the best day possible with as few issues as possible. Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney World news!

I am slightly confused why this is targeted to Disney adults… This is just a general issue with people in general of all ages regardless of their
