REVIEW: Disney's New $18 Burger Is ONLY Worth It If You're Splitting It

Disneyland Resort has tons of different offerings around its multiple different dining locations, sometimes it’s hard to decide where to eat.

You’re already spending so much money on vacation, you want to be sure you’re going to enjoy the meals you get too! That’s where we come in — we try all the new offerings around the parks so you know what’s worth your hard-earned money, and what you may want to stay away from, and this new burger in Disneyland? Well, it’s filling, but is that enough to save it?

Over at Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland, you’ll find the new Taverne Triple Cheeseburger with Bacon for $17.49. This is made with Grilled Onions, Bacon, American Cheese, House-made Burger Sauce, and Pickles, served with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or Taverne Potato Bites.

This was good, but we wouldn’t say it was anything too special. It’s certainly a more filling option though, and we’d only get this if you’re super hungry because we got pretty full after about half of it. (That also means it’s good to split!)

The patties were a little dry, but it was tolerable. We did enjoy the nice peppery seasoning that went well with the tangy burger sauce flavor. The pickles didn’t add too much other than a little dill flavor, and since there were so few of them, the flavor got pretty drowned out.

Overall, it’s a solid option, especially if you’re sharing or you need something hearty, but we wouldn’t say it’s a standout. If you’re a burger connoisseur, you may be disappointed, but if you’re just craving a burger with lots of toppings, this could be a good option.
