Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will be having a planned power outage on February 14th, 2025, and we have the details.
All-Star Music will experience a planned power outage on Friday, February 14th, between 2 AM and 6 AM. During this time, the power will be affected in the hotel’s guest rooms.
While it is early in the morning, it will save you a lot of trouble knowing it will happen! If you are getting back really late tonight, you may be surprised that there is no power. Anything you are trying to charge during that time, like a phone or MagicBand+, will also need a couple of extra hours in the evening or the morning. Also, make sure you are setting a backup alarm if you usually use a wall-powered alarm clock. If you are getting up early on February 14th, you may also be without power until 6 AM.
It can be frustrating to experience a planned power outage during your stay, but Disney does its best to minimize the impact and inform guests ahead of time. Planned power outages do happen occasionally at Disney World for maintenance reasons, so it is important to pay attention to communications from your Disney World hotel.

I stayed at the Polynesian Resort for 12 nights the end of January & first of February. During this time, I experienced not one, but TWO power outages from 1:30am-4:30am. That seemed excessive, and I did not enjoy feeling my way to the bathroom in complete darkness during the night. I’ve decided to take an emergency battery operated lamp the next time I stay at any Disney property in the future.
