Disneyland is going through some changes!
From hotel refurbishments to major additions to Disney California Adventure and Disneyland, there is a lot happening in Anaheim! Another change is headed to the original theme park soon because a fan-favorite dining option is closing for refurbishment soon!
Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel will be closing soon for a refurbishment in March! This buffet-style table service restaurant is a character meet and greet during breakfast and brunch and a regular buffet during dinner.
Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast and Brunch Buffet can be found at Storytellers Cafe where you can say hi to Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip n’ Dale! This spot serves up delicious American-inspired dishes like Mickey waffles for breakfast and prime rib for dinner.
If you were hoping to dine here during your March stay, you can check out Heartstone Lounge which will have extra hours and food offerings during the Storytellers Cafe closure.
If character dining is an absolute must, you can also check out the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures although it is quite a bit pricier starting at $142 for a 3-course breakfast experience. This offering is at Napa Rose which is also going to be seeing some changes soon!
Napa Rose is also set to close for a much lengthier refurbishment starting sometime in the spring before reopening in the fall. Disney shared that the Napa Rose changes are “taking its dining experience to the next level with an exquisite new look that celebrates Craftsman design with an eye toward modern Californian luxury and approachability.”
Not only are these two restaurants getting some love, but the rooms are also receiving a facelift at the Grand Californian! The rooms will feature new decor and “new bold colors” through the carpet, furniture, and bedding.
We can’t wait to see what all of these changes will entail! The Grand Californian is an iconic hotel that takes you right into the heart of Disney California Adventure so we’re happy to see it’s getting a bit of extra love. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
