Moana is going on a new journey…with a new look!
With the highly anticipated Moana 2 just weeks away, the excitement around the titular character is reaching a fever pitch. Disney has announced a major change to Moana meet & greets worldwide in preparation for the film’s release.
Over the course of the next month, Moana meet & greets around the world will introduce a brand new costume for the character, modeled after her look in the upcoming sequel.
The look, which according to Disney is a new look for her “journey across the far seas!” will be debuting at Disney California Adventure, EPCOT, and Disneyland Paris on November 24th, and Hong Kong Disneyland on November 29th.
The new look for Moana is part of a major marketing push for the new film, with a full line of merchandise including an in-theater line of popcorn buckets and other novelties.
Moana 2, which features Auliʻi Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson returning to their roles as Moana and Maui respectively, was written and directed by David G. Derrick Jr. and is scheduled for release on November 27th.
Moana is getting a BRAND-NEW look at Disney parks in preparation for the release of Moana 2 at the end of the month. Stay tuned to AllEars for further coverage of the upcoming film.
