Hurricane Milton is on its way to Florida, and Disney World is preparing for the storm.

Rainy day in the Magic Kingdom

Yesterday, Disney World announced that three hotels would close ahead of the storm. These hotels include Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. These three resorts will temporarily close beginning at 11AM on Wednesday, October 9th. On top of these resort closures, Disney World also relaxed its cancelation policies ahead of the storm. And as of today, October 8th, another update has just been made.

Originally, the update allowed for change and cancellation fees for guests with check-in dates of October 6th through October 12th will be waived due to potential weather impacts to travel plans.
