For many guests, the Disney World hotels provide the ultimate respite from the hustle and bustle of the resort’s theme parks and an oasis amid a busy family vacation. However, things aren’t perfect.

There are several issues with Disney World hotels currently, including refurbishments and issues with automatic checkout. However, there are two major problems with food at most of the property’s hotels that jump out to us right now.
The Lack of Room Service
Picture this: You’re either getting ready to head out to one of Disney World’s theme parks in the morning, OR getting back to your hotel after a long day at the park, and decide you want to enjoy breakfast or a late-night snack delivered to your hotel room.
The issue? Unless you’re staying at the Grand Floridian, you can’t!

That’s right, since the pandemic, only Walt Disney World’s flagship hotel offers room service delivery. Well, at least you can always get food and bring it back to your room… oh wait.
Late Night Food Options
If you decide to stay at one of Disney World’s theme parks until close, by the time you return to your hotel, you may be out of luck if looking for a late-night snack. This is especially true if you’re at a park that’s on the opposite end of the property.
Everything POP Shopping and Dining Restaurant
Services: Quick Service
On a night when the Magic Kingdom closes at 10:00 PM, it will likely take guests about an hour to get back to Pop Century, where the Everything Pop! shop and food court closes at 11:00 PM. While we obviously understand that these outlets need to close for the night, an extra hour of operation could potentially make a massive difference for many guests.

While there are many, many things we love about Walt Disney World’s hotels, these food issues are currently two of the resort’s biggest problems. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on Disney World’s current offerings.

I bring the goodies that I like. I bring something for my Husband and I to hold us over. Plus, refilling our water bottles saves us money. I don’t see this as a problem. We have eaten in every hotel and every restaurant in EPCOT.
I can’t be the only person to bring my Special K strawberry yogurt bars and yogurt covered pretzels and lots of licorice and some twizzlers packed just in case I feel like having something that I like. I bring pumpkin seeds, etc for what I like to nosh on.
another thing is NOT having airport magic express for disney world hotel guests
that made the trip
bring it back!!!
