NEWS: A Popular Disneyland Event Will RETURN This August

There’s a special event coming back to Disneyland Resort this summer, and we can’t wait for it!

The family fun Disney Jr. Let’s Play! is coming back to the Disneyland Resort this summer, and it’s going to be better than ever. Disney just revealed the full details, as well as the official dates for the event — let’s take a look.

The Disney Jr. party is making a grand return to the Disneyland Resort from August 8th through August 10th, 2025. This three-day event is inspired by some of the most beloved characters and stories from Disney Jr., and your kiddos are going to love it! From entertainment, to exclusive photo ops, we can’t think of a better way to spend a day at Disney for young families.

Right off the bat, the summer party will launch at Disney’s California Adventure. There’s going to be a “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party” filled with exclusive entertainment. Some of your favorite Disney characters are coming out to party with you — including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and more! Keep an eye out, because it sounds like they are going to be doing a big parade. There will also be an exclusive “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Live” stage show at the Hollywood Backlot stage.

That’s not all that will be offered at Disney’s California Adventure! Indulge in other activities such as the cupcake decorating experience with “Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties,” or become an artist at “Learn to Draw Disney Jr. Characters” located at the Animation Academy. It’s not a party if you aren’t taking lots of pictures! Check out the multiple photo opportunities in Hollywood Land inspired by popular series such as Spidey and his Amazing Friends, Iron Man and his Awesome Friends, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, SuperKitties, and Bluey!

Speaking of pictures, you’ll get the chance to take photos with some of your favorite Disney Jr. characters!  There will be exclusive meet-and-greets with some fan-favorite Disney Jr. characters. Also, you aren’t going to want to miss out on the all-new “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” stage show in Hollywood Land.

So that’s all on just day one! What else is in store for the three-day party? Well, on August 9th and August 10th, there will be more activities held over at the Downtown Disney District. Some of the things you’ll be able to do include:

• Disney Jr. Let’s Play-themed merchandise available at World of Disney
• The Let’s Play! Bubbles Experience at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and lawn
