Disney Cruise Line has been on a roll with introducing new ships to their fleet, and it appears they are not stopping anytime soon!
We just heard some BIG news about the Disney Cruise Line fleet at the Disney Experiences Panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event! There will be even more cruise ships joining the fleet in the coming years.
Not one, not two, but FOUR new ships will be joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet. These four new ships will bring the total number of ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet to a total of 13 ships by 2031.
We are just as surprised as you are, that is a lot of ships! There are currently five ships in the fleet, and four other ships are already in the works. We already know that we are expecting the Disney Treasure to join the fleet in 2024, and the Disney Adventure and Disney Destiny will be joining the fleet in 2025.
With this announcement, four MORE ships will be joining the fleet between 2027 and 2031. That is going to be a lot of cruise options! The ship names, designs, and itineraries are still being developed, but we are sure these new ships will be bringing lots of Disney magic to the seas.
