The time has almost come! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom is nearly ready to go!

We’ve been watching for every update, big and small, and now we know the new attraction will open on June 28th with two ways to ride – via Virtual Queue or by booking a Lightning Lane after purchasing Genie+. But, Annual Passholders get to ride early during previews — so here’s how that works!
Previews are currently in progress before the new ride officially opens to the public on June 28th, 2024 at Magic Kingdom. Now, if you are an Annual Passholder hoping to ride during previews, we’ve got good news for you! You have the chance to snag a spot in the virtual queue for these previews.

Passholders are required to make a Magic Kingdom park pass reservation on the date they wish to ride. There is a virtual queue for the passholder previews, which opens each day at 7AM and again at 1PM. Park Pass Reservations for the preview dates have completely SOLD OUT, but there’s still a way for passholders to get on the ride using the 1PM virtual queue.

The 1PM virtual queue only requires a park pass reservation to ANY park, so if you’re an Annual Passholder, you can try to get a park pass reservation for another park and then park hop to Magic Kingdom later in the day. Note that Passholders who have hotel reservations during those preview days can still book Magic Kingdom reservations.

Even if you still can’t score a reservation for the day you need, don’t fret! The previews will be using a Virtual Queue system with two times to enter through the My Disney Experience app — 7AM and 1PM.
To get around this, you can book a Park Pass for any other park and then hop to Magic Kingdom before 1PM and try to join the queue.

To access, you’ll need to click “Join Virtual Queue” on the app’s homepage and then go to the Magic Kingdom section. The Tiana virtual queue is located just below the TRON one. When it’s time to join the queue, a blue button will pop up on this screen.

Virtual Queue spots can be tricky to score and we expect these previews to fill up quickly. One of our biggest tips is to disconnect from the Disney Wi-Fi. Sometimes it lags since so many people are using it! Also, try having multiple people in your group attempt to join.

Keep in mind that it’s possible that there could be some delays during Annual Passholder previews, so be flexible and PLEASE be kind to the Cast Members who work the attraction. We’ve seen quite a few mishaps during Cast Member and media previews.
