We’ve got our eyes set on summer because the wait for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom is almost over!

We can’t wait to ride this new attraction, which takes place right after The Princess and The Frog and follows Tiana setting up a Mardi Gras party for the town, and we get to help her find the last missing ingredient! It appears the ride has taken another step towards opening because we spotted some exciting signs on the ride track.
We’ve been excited in the past when we’ve seen water in the track and the ride vehicles floating around. We assumed they could be ride testing, but now we have confirmed proof!
We spotted some new signage at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! If you see it running on your upcoming trip, don’t get your hopes up too high…it’s still in a testing phase. We’re still waiting on an official opening date for this summer! ?✨☀️ pic.twitter.com/ymawraWMio

These signs, placed around the track, now let guests know that the ride is being tested by Imagineers and that it’ll open to the public this summer! The signs, which read “Sorry, Friends, we are ride testing only. Opening this summer,” were most likely added so that if you happen to see people on the ride, you know that it is not open but testing is in progress.

We’ve seen some big updates to the ride as we wait patiently for it to open. New fauna has appeared around the outside, the track is filled with water, and now actual people riding the ride for testing! These are all clues pointing us to the opening day.

Disney has confirmed that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World will open this summer, while in Disneyland, the ride will open later this year. We’re keeping our eyes peeled for new announcements as we get closer to summertime.
