2 Disney World Rides Have LIMITED Hours Due to Weather

Orlando gets cold in the winter, sure, but cold enough to feel like it’s in the single digits with the wind chill? Yeah, THAT’S not typical.

However, that’s exactly what people in Orlando are dealing with this weekend, and it’s throwing a lot of things off. Some theme park guests may not be dressed for the temperature and find themselves purchasing sweatshirts and sweatpants in the theme parks to keep from freezing, and, as we’ve just found out, some Disney World rides are even having to adjust their hours due to the extreme cold. If you’re trying to ride these two rides between today and tomorrow, you’ll have fewer hours to do so!

Orlando is seeing some WILDLY cold temperatures this weekend through tomorrow, Monday, February 2nd, and it’s best to be prepared. If you’re in the parks, there are two water rides that now have adjusted hours due to the colder temperatures.

Over in Magic Kingdom, those wanting to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the hours of operation have been LIMITED for the next two days. The hours are as follows:

• • Sunday, February 1st: 11 AM to 7 PM (regular park hours are 9 AM to 9 PM)

• • Monday, February 2nd: 11 AM to 8 PM (regular park hours are 9 AM to 10 PM)

As for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids’ hours have also been affected due to the weather. If you’re looking to ride, the hours are:

• • Sunday, February 1st: 12 PM-6 PM (regular park hours are 8 AM to 8 PM)

• • Monday, February 2nd: 11 AM to 6 PM (regular park hours are 8 AM to 6 PM)

If you’re looking to ride a water ride during this weather, you’re braver than we are, and we hope you’ve got a poncho to actually stop yourself from getting wet, or you’ve brought a change of clothes and a hairdryer.
