GOOD NEWS: You May Have EXTRA Chances To Ride a POPULAR Disney World Ride Soon!

We’re nearly out of the woods — spring is right around the corner, and that means daylight savings time will kick in! That means we can enjoy the beautiful sun a little LONGER (and our mood will instantly improve). But that also means some things are changing in Disney World!

Animal Kingdom

The biggest change will be happening in Magic Kingdom. Now that the sun will be out a little later, look out for NEW Happily Ever After fireworks showtimes. But there’s another BIG change starting soon, so let’s talk about it!

Don’t let this time change catch you off guard! Kilimanjaro Safaris, located over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will see some new operation hours in the evening.

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Up until Match 9th, this ride runs until 5:45PM each night. Unlike most other attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, this one closes early to accommodate the animals. But then, starting March 10th, the ride will be open for an extra hour! That gives you all the way until 6:45PM to catch a ride on the safari.

But wait! We’ve got ANOTHER change to keep your eyes on in the park. On March 24th, the ride will close at 6PM. For now, it looks like the ride will close at 6PM from that point on, though the Disney World calendar only shows operating hours through early May at this time.

You never know who you might see!

If you’re planning a trip to Disney World this spring, keep your eyes on the My Disney Experience app so you know exactly how late everything in the park will remain open.

Lunch time!

Oh, and keep your eyes on the park hours, too. They change ALL THE TIME, so you may end up with some extra time in the parks if you’re lucky! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
