Disney dropped some HUGE Tiana news, today!
Early this morning (February 13th), Disney shared that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening in Disney World this summer! 🎉 It was perfect timing for the announcement as Mardi Gras celebrations continue around the country. With exciting news like that, we had to go take a peak at the ride, and when we got there, we noticed a new addition!
In a series of announcements, Disney not only shared that the Disney World version of the ride would be opening this summer, but they also gave us a sneak peek at the Tiana animatronic!
We quickly headed to Magic Kingdom to check on the ride, and when we got there, we saw a brand new mural on the wall!

This new mural features Louis the Alligator from The Princess and the Frog, and it announces that the ride will officially be opening in summer 2024!
We are so ready to “join the party!” This is a new timeline, as Disney had originally announced that it would open “Late 2024.” The timeline for Disneyland’s version of the ride remains as late 2024, but Disney World guests will get to ride the new attraction soon.
