Did you know there is a way to get free drink refills at Disney World? Bottoms up!
Disney World offers a plethora of exclusive collectibles. If you seek anything from island-themed kitchenware to unhinged merch, Disney World has you covered. Sometimes you can even find super practical collectibles during your trip, such as refillable mugs!
Disney World hotels sell refillable mugs that come with a set of rules and perks. With that said, let’s get into those rules and perks, as well as what’s most important — what the mugs currently look like!
Disney World hotels all sell collectible mugs that can be refilled at the resorts. Referred to as Rapid-Fill Mugs, these 16-oz. insulated coffee mugs can be purchased for $21.99 and allow hotel guests to enjoy refills of fountain drinks, coffee, and tea at resort self-service beverage locations for the length of their stay up to 14 days.
It’s important to note that these mugs will NOT be good after the deadline expires and also do not work within the Disney Parks, so take that into account before you purchase one. However, if you refill them before you leave the hotel, they can be well worth the cost. They also make cute collectibles!
The mugs come in four different colors —Â orange, green, teal/light blue, and pink.Â
The designs are similar on each, with Mickey and Friends reminiscent of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios front and center on the cup.
The background of each mug features several Disney World Resort Easter eggs, such as Spaceship Earth, Cinderella Castle, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the Disney Skyliner, and references to several Disney World hotels.

It would be nice if the cups could be reactivated on a future trip. Love getting the cups, but there just isn’t room in the cabinet for another one.
Hi Kathi! You can actually have a CM reactivate your refillable mug. They usually advise buying a new one because it’s the exact same price to reactivate it as it is to purchase a new one, but if you’re wanting to avoid waste and not bring another mug home, you can absolutely reactivate your old one. 🙂
