NEWS: Disney World EXTENDS Hours at Three Parks

It’s one of the most exciting times to be at Disney World — it’s the holiday season!

Although the holidays started back in November (with some decorations going up before Halloween!), there’s nothing like spending time in the parks around the holidays themselves. Soon you’ll be able to spend even more time at Disney World!

The Disney World calendar was recently updated and shows extended hours at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.

Magic Kingdom

Starting with Magic Kingdom, the OG Disney World park is now set to open at 8AM on most days through the rest of December.

There are some exceptions when the park opens at 9AM like on December 20th and 23rd. The park is still closing at 6PM on days when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place (December 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st, and 22nd).

From January 1st to 3rd, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM to 11PM. Then from January 4th to 6th, the park will open at 8AM. Hours shorten from January 7th onward — the park will be open from 9AM to 9PM.

Hollywood Studios

Park hours have also been extended at Hollywood Studios! The park will open 30 minutes early from December 24th to 31st. You’ll be able to visit from 8:30AM to 9PM, except on December 31st when it will be open from 8:30AM to 12AM.

Hollywood Studios will be open from 8:30AM to 9PM from January 1st through the 6th. Throughout the rest of the month, the park will be open from 9AM to 9PM.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is now open until 8PM most nights except for December 15th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th when the park will close at 7PM.

In January Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM to 7PM on the 1st to the 3rd, from 8AM to 8PM on the 4th to the 6th, and from 8AM to 6PM on the 7th to the 27th.
