Disney World is full of so many new things to experience, even if you go every day like we do.

There are new secrets we discover, changes in how rides operate and surprises when they go down unexpectedly, and Disney often adds new snacks or meals to their menus throughout the year. However, not all of these snacks are made equal, and these are some we advise you not to get.
It’s important to remember that everyone has different taste buds, so if we don’t like something, that doesn’t mean you won’t! However, these are the snacks that we’ve tried on multiple occasions and don’t recommend for one reason or another.
Mickey Pretzel
We know, we know, the Mickey Pretzel is a classic treat, but the truth is that there are SO many better pretzels you can get around Disney World property. 5 times out of 10, many of our readers have gotten a very stale pretzel.

However, if you or your kiddo is just looking for the simplest pretzel you can get, and it’s more important that it looks like Mickey, then this is a good option. But if you’re looking for a genuinely good pretzel, we suggest options like the Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel or the Colossal Pretzel at Pongu Pongu.

Plant Based “Cheese” Pizza from Pinocchio Village Haus
We’re not big fans of Pinocchio Village Haus as a whole, but the Plant-based “Cheese” Pizza is one of our least favorite things ever.

It honestly tasted like microwave pizza, and while that’s not an issue if that’s what you’ve bought at the store…that’s not the case here. Additionally, we’ve had fantastic plant-based options all around the park that are better choices, so please don’t waste your time and money on this one.

Artisan Burger from Gasparilla Island Grill
We also 100% do NOT recommend the Artisan Burger from Gasparilla Island Grill unless you want a burger that’s as dry as the Sahara Desert.

When we had this burger, it came with no sauces on it, and the burger was so dry it was hard to get through. Not only that, it was unseasoned, which made it all the more unappealing.

Lunch Box Tarts from Woody’s Lunch Box
Some of you may have just gasped out in horror that this is on the list, but there’s a perfectly good reason why we don’t recommend Lunch Box Tarts.

The main issue? They’re inconsistent. Sometimes we get them, and we adore them, but a week later we get one that’s blech. It’s very hard to find a pattern with them, too, so it’s not like we could recommend you get them at a certain time of day for better luck. Honestly, you’re better off bringing a PopTart into the park with you (which is allowed!).

Turkey Leg
You knew it was going to be here — yes, we are once again rehashing that we do NOT recommend the Turkey Legs.

Are these filling? Yes, very much so, and while that’s great for a day at a theme park to help you spend less money, it’s not great when you feel like you have a rock in your stomach as you go on a ton of different rides. Not only that, it’s immensely salty, which will make you even more thirsty on a hot Disney day, and that’s not a good combination.
