Now There’s One More Thing to Tempt You to Book a Disney Cruise…

Oh boy — as if there wasn’t already enough temptation to book a Disney Cruise Line vacation, another potential reason to get booking has just been announced!

Disney has already shared a sneak peek at its upcoming new ship (the Disney Treasure), and we’ve taken a look at all of the unique holiday offerings you’ll find on Disney’s fleet of ships. But now a NEW addition has been announced for the Disney Dream Cruise Ship!

A NEW dance/deck party called Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party is taking over the Disney Dream cruise ship. The party is available on the upper decks of the ship on select sailings this summer and will feature fun for the whole family.

The party will have a 90s throwback feel, with appearances by Mickey (in a NEW outfit), Minnie, and some of their friends (including Max!). The whole group will be ready to break out their favorite moves.

And here’s where the color fun begins. Each character is assigned a color. When the wheel lands on their color, it’s time for them to really party!

The deck party is interactive too. Things will start with a sing-along preshow of “Into the Unknown,” and then each spin on the color wheel will lead to more music, dancing, and even things like the wave or the hand jive (all to renditions of Disney songs, of course).

Disney is encouraging cruisers to dress like their favorite characters for this party. Or you can be like the dancers in the show and opt for a throw-back tracksuit.

Again, the party will only be on the Disney Dream and will be on select sailings starting this week on the trip to the Norwegian Fjords and Iceland. Would this deck party be something you or your little ones would enjoy? Tell us in the comments!
