You might think you know Disney World like the back of your hand, but it can SURPRISE you.

Step inside the parks on your next visit and you might find that there are totally NEW snacks you have never heard of, ride adjustments you need to take into consideration, and even unexpected construction. That last one is something we encountered recently at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
A few days ago, we noticed some construction walls were UP around the Grand Avenue area in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This is the part of the park that is home to Muppet*Vision 3-D, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, PizzeRizzo, and more.

Previously, we noticed that the snack cart in this area had moved to the other side of the street as the construction walls were placed.

On June 12th, the construction walls were still up!

They are near Gonzo’s Royal Flush (which is one of the BEST names we’ve ever seen for a restroom), but you can still access the Grand Avenue area once you move past the walls.

Disney hasn’t revealed just what construction work is going on back here so we’ll have to keep an eye out for updates. We’ll also keep an eye out for any permits that might indicate what future work will be taking place in the park.
For more news from Hollywood Studios, click here to check out the NEW pop-up bar (themed to Indiana Jones) that has appeared in the park! And stay tuned for updates.
