One Classic Disney World Ride Has Been CLOSED for Several Days

Sometimes things don’t always go according to plan in Disney World.

Fantasyland

That’s because unpredictable things happen, like the weather, a ride malfunction, or even a ride closure. If you happened to have a certain Magic Kingdom ride on your list over the past few days, you might have noticed that it’s been closed — and is still closed as of today.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel has been closed over the past few days. We walked by the carrousel this morning and discovered that it’s still closed.

The Carrousel is still closed

So what should you do if a must-do ride on your list is closed in Disney World? Well, there aren’t any alternatives that are just like a carrousel (unless you want to do the paid carousel in Disney Springs), but if it’s something kiddos enjoy, you might want to consider Dumbo or The Magic Carpets of Aladdin (just watch out for the camel — it spits). They’re not QUITE the same as riding on an attraction that’s older than Disney World itself, but that should please the kiddos.

Another option is to just wait it out and see if the ride reopens later in the day — you can check the My Disney Experience app for the latest updates. Of course, there are still plenty of other child-friendly rides in Fantasyland, so you could just focus on those instead, too. Magic Kingdom has the most rides of any of Disney World’s parks, so you won’t run out of things to do even if one ride is closed.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and let you know when it reopens, so be sure to check back with AllEars often.
