Why You WON'T Be Able to Make Disney Dining Reservations Tonight

If you’ll be trying to make dining reservations for Disney World or Disneyland tonight, you may encounter a problem.

There are all kinds of unique restaurants to eat at in both resorts and you might have a LARGE list of the reservations you simply must get, but you’ll have a tough time booking those tonight.

When we went into the My Disney Experience app (for Disney World) and checked for available dining reservations, a message popped up on our screen warning us about some interruptions that will be happening soon.

According to the message, some of Disney’s digital experiences will undergo maintenance soon. As a result, reservations for restaurants and activities will NOT be available beginning on Thursday, November 3rd at 12AM. Disney did not share how long this maintenance would be expected to last.

The same message popped up for us on the Disneyland app, but that scheduled maintenance showed that it was scheduled to begin at 9PM on November 2nd.

So if you’re hoping to make a dining reservation for Disney World or Disneyland today, you might want to make those quickly (ahead of these maintenance interruptions), or you’ll be stuck waiting until the maintenance has finished.

Again, Disney did not provide an end-time for this maintenance, but we’ll keep an eye out for updates.
