PHOTOS: Magic Kingdom Gift Shop Sees MAJOR Changes

Since the closure in March 2020 and the phased reopening that began in July 2020, Disney World has gradually reopened most shops, restaurants, and hotels.

Tomorrowland

Today, we noticed the latest reopening, but there is something different about this location now.

The Merchant of Venus merchandise shop has reopened at Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland! However, it looks very different now.

It’s open!

Instead of a gift shop, this spot is now an indoor seating area. The seating area is connected to Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies and has been redecorated with some Tomorrowland attraction-themed posters.

New decor!

This newly opened seating area provides some much-needed tables, chairs, and air conditioning for the surrounding dining areas, including Auntie Gravity’s and the Lunching Pad. Here’s a look around the space.

Plenty of room in here

Next time you’re in Tomorrowland, and need a spot to cool off, rest your feet or sit and dine, take a look at Merchant of Venus to see if it’s open for your relaxation.
