Whether it’s Christmas Day, Mother’s Day, an anniversary, or any other holiday celebration, we can usually count on Disney to be celebrating with new eats and drinks!

And, in honor of Black Music Month, Disneyland introduced a new cocktail to honor the return of the “Tale of the Lion King” show called the Pride Rock Punch! But, now you don’t need to head to the parks to give it a try — you can make it at home!
The Pride Rock Punch mixes flavors like pineapple, mango, unsweetened iced tea, and more to create a refreshing way to beat the heat, especially on warm summer days! The drink originally debuted at Disneyland’s Troubadour Tavern (in Fantasyland) for a limited time, and Disney has released a brand new recipe for you to make this drink at home!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients
Serves 4-6
- 1 cup of fresh pineapples that are cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 4 cups of freshly brewed unsweetened black tea
- 1/3 cup of mango beverage syrup
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 3/4 teaspoon of tamarind paste
- Orange, Dried mango, and Dried pineapple slices
Instructions
- Place pineapple in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Combine puréed pineapple, unsweetened tea, mango beverage syrup, orange juice, and tamarind paste in a large pitcher. Stir until tamarind paste is fully dissolved.
- Fill 4-6 tall glasses halfway with ice. Add punch and garnish with orange slices, dried mango and, dried pineapple.

Note that if you have trouble finding the mango beverage syrup, you can make your own! Here’s how:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of frozen mango pieces
Instructions:
- Bring 1/2 cup water, 1/2 sugar, and 1 cup of frozen mango pieces to a boil in a saucepan.
- Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20 minutes.
- Cool completely and strain out mango pieces. Refrigerate up to one week.
