It’s hard not to be overwhelmed when choosing where to eat in Disney World, as there are so many options!
You can try flavors from around the world in EPCOT, get a taste of Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, dine with royalty in Magic Kingdom, or eat like a star in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And, as if all of those options weren’t enough, there are also a ton of restaurants placed throughout the Disney World Resort hotels. So to help narrow down all of those choices, we asked our readers for some help!
We took to Facebook to ask our readers, “What is a Disney World restaurant that left you feeling disappointed?” Here’s what they said!
‘Ohana
Are you surprised to see this on the list? This restaurant is tucked inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and provides its guests with a Polynesian-themed family-style meal. And while it’s a pretty popular spot, it seemed to disappoint some of our readers.
One reader said ‘Ohana’s iconic bread pudding actually “fell flat” for them. And while the food was an issue for some, others cited the service as the main problem. One reader said they were “rushed” while eating, and another said the service was “awful” so they felt let down.

Tony’s Town Square
Located on Main Street, U.S.A., this Lady and the Tramp-inspired restaurant offers Italian food to guests. And although sparks flew at this location when Lady and the Tramp shared their first kiss, the experience has been pretty lackluster for our readers.
One reader shared that they’ve given it 3 tries, “and all 3 were disappointing.” Another reader summed it up by saying, “Lady and the Tramp deserved better.” OUCH!

Yak & Yeti
Animal Kingdom is home to this pan-Asian and Nepalese-style restaurant. While it boasts unique flavors, some of our readers were anything but impressed.
We got many responses for Yak & Yeti, with one referring to it as a “one and done.” Other commenters shared that they “really wanted to love it.” Another reader lovingly called it “Yakking Yeti.”

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
This location received a ton of responses. Some pointed to the food as the issue, while others pointed to the ambiance!
One reader said they couldn’t interact with their party because it was so dark inside! Another reader said “some of the short films were scary” for their kids, so it wasn’t an enjoyable experience.

This seems like a restaurant you’ll either love or hate. There doesn’t seem to be much of an in-between. Located inside of Magic Kingdom, this location provides diners with the chance to enter the Beast’s enchanted castle for a meal!
One reader said, “For what it cost, the food was disappointing.” Some others agreed and said that the food was “mediocre.” We also got a ton of comments saying it was too chaotic and overcrowded.

We enjoy Ohana for breakfast. We were satisfied with the meal and service in March 2022. Tony’s Town Square was a disappointment. The marinara sauce was lacking in basic flavor, oregano would have improved it. Olive Garden is better than Tony’s Town Square. Be Our Guest wait staff in March 2022 was not good. A long wait for the first course and second course came during it. Waiting for the check an eternity. Food quality not as good as pre-covid. Sci Fi took some higher quality favorites off the menu. We generally we eat at Sci Fi because of the atmosphere. 50s Prime was very good on our March 2022. If you want a clean plate sticker go when you are starving. Our dinner reservation was at 8pm.
