Tower of Terror is one of Disney World’s most iconic thrill rides. Located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this ride takes you on an elevator ride that simulates a free fall of up to 39 miles per hour!
And as with all Disney World rides, sometimes they experience technical difficulties from time to time, and Tower of Terror is having a bit of an issue today. You might have to wait a bit longer to ride it, and here’s what we’ve learned.
We were visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios today when we noticed the line for Tower of Terror suddenly get really, really long. In fact, the standby wait time jumped from 45 minutes all the way to 120 minutes!
So what happened? Only 2 elevators are working! In case you didn’t know, there are 4 loading elevators, so that means half the elevators are down. Cast Members announced that wait times might be longer for the time being.
So if you’re visiting Hollywood Studios today, make sure to pack your patience if you’re hoping to ride Tower of Terror. And as you wait in line, you can learn all about hidden Tower of Terror facts in our video below!
