We’re only a few months away from the grand opening of Disney World’s newest hotel — Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!
Once open, guests will embark on a 2-night adventure filled with unique eats and drinks, the ability to learn how to use a lightsaber from Jedi masters, an “excursion” to the planet of Batuu (aka Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios), and more. Reservations have been open for guests since October 2021 and while availability has been a bit hit or miss over the past few months, it looks like A LOT of people are ready to hop onboard right when it opens!
We’ve seen quite a few dates sell out and then become available for the first few months that the hotel will be open, but as of this writing, the entire month of March 2022 has completely booked up for the Star Wars hotel!
Previously, there was very limited availability in the month but it looks like the last few reservations have been scooped up!
But, those who haven’t booked their stay yet don’t need to worry — there are still plenty of other “voyages” available according to Disney’s website. For example, there’s quite a bit of availability in April and May…
…plus the entire month of July and August are open with only two dates sold out in September 2022.
Keep in mind that there are only 100 “cabins” at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, so you’ll want to book your stay sooner than later if you have a specific date in mind. The final payment for your stay is due 90 days before your arrival date, so you’ll have some time to finalize your plans (and budget) if you choose a date a bit further out.

If it doesn’t work out, maybe they could turn it into a Marvel themed hotel experience where Spider Man greets you and spits a web on your family.
Those April and May dates were sold out, too, until the recent ads during the Disney Christmas specials. Many cancelled after seeing how bad the experience looked.
Cutting corners has never worked out well for Disney. This seems like it’s doomed. I hope I’m wrong. I’m a lifelong Disney fan and soon-to-be ex-Annual Pass holder. I’m gonna miss the place, but enjoy the memories of what it once was.
I’ve heard that sold out only means that people have paid a deposit and not actually the balance and that people are canceling left and right after seeing the latest video. Disney has now pulled that video due to backlash from avid SW fans. All different sources are starting to say that this looks like a major flop.
Don’t say anything, you will jinx them. Everybody is canceling after they saw pictures of the “ship” which looks like it was designed by a Star Trek fan.
