The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover might not be the most thrilling ride at Disney World, but it’s still a favorite.

This classic attraction is a great way to take in all the sights of Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland while giving guests’ feet a much-needed break. However, this morning, guests were unable to ride the attraction because it was closed after an evacuation.
As of this morning, the PeopleMover was showing as temporarily closed on the My Disney Experience app.

Just before it was marked as closed, we noticed that the ride had come to a stop and stayed there for about 5- 10 minutes.

Then we saw guests stepping out of the vehicles to evacuate the attraction.

Cast Members were directing guests off the PeopleMover.
