There are a lot of decisions to make when you’re planning a Disney World vacation (especially around the holidays) and one of the biggies is which parks you want to visit and when.
Disney World is currently requiring guests to purchase both a valid theme park ticket and make a park pass reservation before arriving at the park, so planning ahead is important now more than ever. And, to help you plan your vacation this holiday season, we’ve got an update on when the parks will be open in November and December!
Most recently, Disney posted park hours through late November. Now, though, Disney has released park hours through December 27th — let’s take a look!

Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom’s park hours through the end of November will be the usual 9AM to 9PM. However, on November 28th & 30th, the park will close at 8 PM for Very Merriest After Hours.
And, in December, the park will continue to hold its 9AM to 9PM hours, except on Very Merriest After Hours days which include December 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th…
...December 12th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 19th, and 21st. On those days the park will close at 8 PM.
Additionally, Extended Evening Hours will be available from 9 PM to 11 PM on Wednesdays for guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts and other select hotels, and park hopping will begin at 2PM daily for those who have purchased a Park Hopper ticket.
At the end of December, Magic Kingdom will have similar hours to the rest of the month, except that on December 30th and 31st the park will be open from 9AM to midnight.
On January 1st, 2022, the park will go back to the 9AM to 9PM hours.
EPCOT
EPCOT will continue its usual 11AM to 10PM hours through the end of November, with Extended Evening Hours on Monday, November 29th from 10PM to 12AM. The park’s Festival of the Holidays will also begin on November 26th so World Showcase will transform with new holiday kitchens and activities.
In December, EPCOT will continue its regular 11 AM to 10 PM hours with the Festival of the Holidays in full swing.
And, the park will also have Extended Evening Hours every Tuesday from 10PM to 12AM, giving guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas two extra hours in the park.
On December 31st, the park will stay open until midnight, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to spend New Year’s Eve there.
On January 1st, 2022, the park will be open from 11AM to 10PM.
Keep in mind that park hopping hours begin at 2PM.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the park will open daily from 9AM to 9PM hours through the end of November…
…and December won’t bring too many changes for Hollywood Studios’ park hours and there’s still no news about Extended Evening Hours coming to the park for the holidays!
Note, however, that on December 31st, Hollywood Studios will stay open until 12AM.
On January 1st, 2022, park hours go back to 9AM to 9PM.
Again, park hopping hours begin after 2PM daily at Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, park hours will shorten into the winter months, changing from 8AM to 7PM to new hours of 9AM to 7PM November 26th through 30th…
…and that will remain the same through December 27th…
…and into New Year’s Eve.
On January 1st, 2022, park hours will also be 9AM to 7PM.
Those hoping to park hop to Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be able to do so after 2PM, like other parks.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
If relaxing at the pool or tackling Disney World’s tallest water slide sounds like something you’d like to do for the holiday season, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will remain open from 11AM to 6PM on November 28th through 30th.
And, the water park will continue to be open from 10AM to 5PM all the way through January 1st.
Here’s the last date of Blizzard Beach’s holiday hours.
At the moment, no park hours are being shown for Blizzard Beach for any point beyond January 1st. Since park hours are available for other parks, it is possible that New Years Day will likely be the last day that guests can visit before it closes for the winter months. We’ll be on the lookout for updates.
Disney Springs
And, if you’d rather skip the park ticket (or you just want something else to do during the day), Disney Springs will open from 10AM to 11PM between November 28th and 30th…
…and from December 1st through 31st, guests can visit Sunday through Thursdays from 10AM to 11PM and Fridays and Saturdays from 10AM to 11:30PM.
On January 1st, 2022, Disney Springs will be open from 10AM to 11:30PM.
Keep in mind that Disney World park hours can change from time to time, so you’ll want to double-check the park hours when you’re on your vacation. And, we’re always keeping track of the changes too, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest updates!
