Throughout the year, Disney World will close certain attractions, shops, and even resorts to do any refurbishments that might be necessary.
And, it can be important to know about what might be closed during your visit! So, that’s why here at AllEars, we keep you up to date with the latest Disney refurbishments, and this week we’re bringing you a look at everything that will be closed between October 11th to October 17th, 2021. Let’s get to it!
Magic Kingdom Refurbishments
Walt Disney World Railroad
While construction continues on the new attraction TRON: Lightcycle Run, in Tomorrowland, the Walt Disney Railroad has continued to remain closed. Disney isn’t making any major updates to the attraction that takes you around the outskirts of the park, but a portion of the track is being blocked by construction on the roller coaster.
Disney has not yet shared an update (or even a timeline) for the railroad may resume operations, but we’ll continue to keep an eye out!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic
Over in Fantasyland, Mickey’s PhilharMagic is scheduled to close beginning October 11th so that a brand new scene featuring the characters of Pixar’s Coco can be added.
The attraction is set to reopen on November 11th, but you can get a peek at what the new scene entails, as it has already debuted in Disneyland!

Disney World Resort Refurbishments
We’ve seen quite a few construction projects wrap up in the resorts over the past month, but this week closures will continue to impact guests staying at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. Currently, Disney is in the process of updating the guest arrival experience which has resulted in the closure of the main lobby area.
The construction is set to be completed mid-October, so guests will need to check-in just outside of the lobby in the port cochere for a little bit longer.
Well, there you have it — everything that will be closed in Disney World next week! Keep in mind that there are a few more closures scheduled for the month of November and December, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

I am so bummed,we were looking forward to seeing Mickeys Philharmagic on October 20th. It will probably be my husband’s last trip due to having ALS.😥
Haven’t been since 2017. Have had to reschedule trip a few times cause of Covid/Financial problems/NO DINING PLAN
