Disney World’s going all out today as the 50th anniversary celebrations kick off (and we can hardly handle the excitement)!
We’re live in the parks for the big day and we’ve already checked out the crowds and some merchandise this morning. And, to officially start the festivities in Magic Kingdom, we were welcomed to the park by some friends!
Mickey and friends welcomed us to Magic Kingdom this morning for the 50th anniversary!
They came out in front of Cinderella Castle 5 minutes before the park officially opened. And, now that Cinderella Castle’s stage has seen a huge makeover, it’s the perfect spot for all of our favorite characters to gather!
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale were joined by Cast Members up on stage. They performed a dance for everyone!
Then, a few fireworks went off to start the day.
We loved getting to see some of our favorite characters back up on stage!
