We’re only a few days away from being able to satisfy our sweet tooth at the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom once again.
There are a lot of new details coming to the shop when it reopens on September 29th, including a HUGE candy wall and customizable treats that are exclusive to the location. And, while you can’t step inside just yet, there are a few new details that you can spot around the shop right now!
New window displays have arrived at the sweet shop on Main Street, U.S.A. and it looks like M&Ms and other chocolate candies have claimed partial ownership!
Mars Candy has replaced Smuckers as the sponsor for the location, so you’ll find quite a few nods to the brand, including new window decals share that the Main Street Confectionery is “The Home of Mars Candy Treats”…
…and others that list a few of the candies that Mars makes like Snickers, Skittles, and M&Ms.
Other window displays also feature the ribbon “winners” of the Mars Presents the Sweetest Spoon Showcase, which awarded blue ribbons to the “finest home confectioners in the nation.”
There are a lot of fun details to check out in this one including a giant wreath made out of M&Ms in the middle, which has been awarded “The Sweetest Spoon.”
Plus, you can even get a close look at the six winners.
Other window displays also feature some of the returning sweet treats like GIANT Mickey Rice Krispie treats, candy apples, cupcakes, and more.
Of course, we’ll be sure to bring you a look at all the details that lie inside when the Main Street Confectionery reopens on September 29th just ahead of Disney World’s 50th anniversary. And, in the meantime, keep reading All Ears for more Disney World and Magic Kingdom news!
