Disney World currently requires guests to wear face coverings at all indoor locations, which includes inside stores and on transportation, as well as on indoor rides and in queues.
Just before this new policy came into place this summer, Disney’s face masks were on sale at very discounted prices, and they started to disappear from gift shops around the parks. With the return of the policy, face mask prices went back up and we’re starting to see them in more stores around Disney World. This week, we found some in EPCOT with a new price tag.
We were shopping in Mouse Gear today in EPCOT when we saw more face masks for sale.
We’ve been seeing more stands of face masks around other parks as well, but these ones have a different price tag than what we’ve seen lately. These masks were sold in packs of two for $20/pack.
That’s quite a bit more than the $3 per mask deal that we saw earlier this summer, and it might be one of the highest prices for face masks that we’ve seen so far in the parks. Online at shopDisney, most two-packs of masks are $11.99…
…and you can get a set of four masks for $19.99.
So if you’re hoping to get a Disney-themed face mask, we’d recommend looking online first! The price increases in the parks is likely due to high demand for the masks. More masks appearing in the parks seems to indicate that the mask policy is here to stay, at least for a while. Keep following AllEars for more updates on Disney World merchandise!
