If there’s anything that Disney World guests know how to do — it’s how to stand in line.
And we’ve seen some long lines over the past few months, for some of the more popular attractions (like Splash Mountain) and for Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto (there’s a line to get into a virtual line there!). But today, the line we saw was not for a restaurant OR attraction.
The line we saw this morning was for…guest relations at Magic Kingdom! Many of these guests were trying to activate their Florida resident tickets they bought online, and went to guest relations the morning they planned to start using it.
If you bought a Florida resident ticket online, we recommend activating it the night before. Just head to guest relations at the front of the park in the afternoon or evening when the line for guest relations is relatively non-existent the day before you are planning on using it.
We checked the line later, around noon, and noticed that it was still VERY long.
Most guests do end up going straight to guest relations first thing in the morning, so there will always be longer lines then. Going later in the day gets you in and out a lot faster.
We keep an eye on all the lines at Disney World, so stay tuned for more updates and tips on how to avoid those long lines! Stay tuned to AllEars for all of the latest.
