Three Restaurants That Prove Not All Magic Kingdom Food is Boring

When you’re planning a vacation to Disney World, one of the big things you’ll need to think about is what you’re going to eat!

Whatcha gonna snack on?

When you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, this may be particularly tricky. While the OG Disney World park is home to plenty of classic snacks, it’s not exactly known for being the park with the most exciting food.

But today, we’re giving the Kingdom some love for three restaurants that prove that not all Magic Kingdom food is “boring!”

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Let’s kick things off with what is perhaps the park’s most popular dining spot, Be Our Guest Restaurant! This restaurant is themed to the hit Disney film Beauty and the Beast, and it’s not a cheap meal, but it’s a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll feel just like you’re dining inside the movie!

The theming in here is impeccable!

On the menu, you’ll find a mixture of American and French fare with items like filet mignon, pork tenderloin, lobster bisque, and scallops — certainly not food you find in most theme parks! The desserts and appetizers are just as fun, with dark chocolate truffle, macarons, and a selection of meats and artisanal cheeses.

Meat and cheese — what more could you want?!

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen

Over in Adventureland, you’ll find (fittingly) the most adventurous food in Magic Kingdom, by far, if you head to Skipper Canteen. The restaurant’s menu is filled with African, Latin, and American dishes of all kinds, and everything is served with a side of corny humor.

Skipper Canteen is one of the finest dining options for Jungle Cruise travelers!

Options include falafel, curried vegetable slaw, and sustainable fish, plus Siu Pork, Perkins Thai Noodles, and Kungaloosh. And if you don’t want to be too brave, you can order the fried chicken.

Falls Family Falafel…YUM!

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe

Last but not least, let’s talk Quick Service. Many of Magic Kingdom’s Quick Service locations are pretty basic — serving up pizza, burgers, or hot dogs. But for the most exotic eats on the go, make sure to stop by Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe in Frontierland.

Spot the date on the top of the building!

As the most unique Quick Service spot in the park, this place gets pretty busy. Here you’ll find “fast-food Mexican” with choices like fajita nachos, tacos, and rice bowls, plus plenty of toppings to go along with them! And if one member of your party is still craving that burger, then good news: you can also order that here!

Load up that bowl with all the goodies!

There you have it — three different choices in Magic Kingdom for more outside-the-box eats. Next time you’re visiting this park and you’re sick of hot dogs, you won’t have to worry about what to do next!
