Guests planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation in the last year have definitely had some scheduling challenges.

The return date of sailings has been pushed back multiple times due to the pandemic, and several restrictions have been put in place for when cruises do return. We recently reported that Canada had extended a cruise ship ban into early 2022, and now that ban is affecting Disney Cruise Line trips in Alaska.
With this ban, no cruise ships carrying more than 100 passengers are allowed in Canadian waters until February 28th, 2022. Since cruise lines must stop at a port in Canada on their way to Alaska, all Alaskan Cruises have been canceled and removed from Disney Cruise Line’s website.

Disney Cruise Line has yet to return to the seas, and even if they return soon, we likely won’t see any Alaskan Cruises until well into next year. We’ll make sure to keep you updated on any more information regarding Disney Cruise Line, especially information on the return of sailings.
