We’re already daydreaming about the awesome dining experiences on our to-do list in 2021!

We love experiencing all the attractions, shopping, and entertainment Disney World has to offer. But one of our absolute favorite activities is eating (and drinking) our way around the parks!
These are six Walt Disney World restaurants we’re the most excited to try in 2021!
1. Space 220
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll FINALLY be able to check out the new EPCOT restaurant, Space 220, in 2021. Upon entering, guests will board an elevator that transports them 220 miles above Earth (hence, the name), and the dining room will provide panoramic views of outer space. Which sounds seriously incredible!

The opening date for this poor restaurant has seen several delays. It was originally slated to open in Winter 2019, which was then bumped back to February 2020 before the extended park closure caused even further delays.

We have seen construction moving along at the site, and while Space 220 still hasn’t received an official opening date, we hope it will be ready to welcome guests in 2021. If so, we’ll be right there ready to dine in the final frontier!
2. Roundup Rodeo BBQ
Another new restaurant we’re anxiously awaiting is Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This Toy Story-themed restaurant looks like it will make a fun and colorful addition to the park based on the concept art.

This project also ran into delays following the park closures. It was originally set to open in 2020, but Disney has yet to release any information about an updated timeline. The anticipation is making us even more intrigued!

Hollywood Studios has relatively few dining options compared to the other parks, so we’re excited to have another spot to choose from when Roundup Rodeo BBQ opens!
3. Gideon’s Bakehouse
Okay, this one recently opened, and we’ve already enjoyed their out-of-this-world cookies. We foresee spending LOTS of time at the Gideon’s Bakehouse location in Disney Springs in 2021. Whether it’s the Original Chocolate Chip, the innovative Coffee Cake Cookie, or a seasonal sweet like the White Christmas, we know what we’re munching on through 2021!

4. Nomad Lounge
Switching gears from brand new restaurants to some of our existing favorites, it probably doesn’t come as a surprise to AllEars readers that we can’t wait to head back to Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Nomad Lounge is located next to Tiffins restaurant, and it’s known for incredible hand-crafted cocktails and delicious small bites. It’s one of our favorite places in the park, and we’re regularly impressed by the quality of both the food and the drinks.

As if the awesome eats and drinks weren’t enough, we also love the atmosphere at Nomad Lounge. It’s our go-to spot for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the park, and we can’t wait to head back for our next cocktail!
5. Liberty Tree Tavern
Many Disney World superfans likely know that October 2021 will mark the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom. And Liberty Tree Tavern is one of the few Disney World restaurants that has also been around since 1971!

This table service restaurant offers solid comfort food for both lunch and dinner — it’s basically a Thanksgiving meal!

We enjoy dining at Liberty Tree Tavern anyway, but it will have an extra-special connection for us in 2021 with the upcoming 50th anniversary.
6. ‘Ohana
Despite being a favorite of many guests, ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is still currently closed. But we’re holding out hope that this restaurant will reopen in 2021…maybe in the summer with the rest of the Poly?

We miss indulging in the hearty, all-you-care-to-enjoy meals at ‘Ohana. And the gorgeous views and fun atmosphere add to the overall experience!

As soon as this restaurant welcomes back guests, we’ll be there to get our Bread Pudding fix!
There’s a lot to look forward to at Disney World this upcoming year. But amid the brand new attractions, hotel refurbishments, and 50th-anniversary celebrations, we haven’t forgotten about all of the FOOD we’re excited to eat. So let’s raise a glass — and a plate — to 2021!

Any word on Hoop fee Doo Review opening?
We have enjoyed The Liberty Tavern over the years, but unfortunately our last two dinners have both had horrible service – the worst service we’ve ever had anywhere at WDW.
We heading back in two weeks and I’m disappointed O’Hana isn’t back open yet.
Space 220 is for me!
